.A few weeks ago, a system malfunction in the complex caused the keypad, key fobs, and garage to malfunction. Only one email was sent to residents, doors were left open overnight, and the garage remained open for a full three weeks, posing a significant safety concern for students. This could have allowed unauthorized individuals to enter apartments and vehicles, violating the security agreements for the garage.
Upon reporting the incident to management, I was informed that an update would be... sent soon. However, no such update was received, and an estimate for the resolution was not provided.
Furthermore, my apartment was infested with flies due to painters leaving our door open and failing to reseal it for over a week. On graduation, we experienced another fly infestation. When I emailed management, they attributed the infestation to me and my roommates, which was inaccurate as it occurred that night. Despite the fact that the initial infestation was caused by the door seal being left open and the second infestation was attributed to a pipe issue, management did not take appropriate action. They did not send an email to the entire complex informing residents that pest control would be dispatched to address the fly issue. Consequently, two of my roommates became ill, and management’s continued neglect and there unhelpful were evident.
