This is a 6-month minimum rental with flexibility beyond 6-months (i.e. academic year), as I live abroad part-time. The townhouse is a 3-minute drive to a well-stocked convenience store and local pub and Chinese restaurant. 5-7 minutes to the gym. Nice walks from the HOA complex and short drive to trailhead. 5-minute drive to large Fred Meyers grocery store and 7 minutes to Walmart Super Store. 5-15 minutes to different Eugene neighborhoods.
Tastefully furnished townhouse with excellent natural light. Open floor plan on main floor. Home has stairs, which offer vantage point views. Front and back private decks. Others cannot see into home from outside. Thus, curtains can remain open if you wish. Each bedroom has blackout curtain liners and its own bathroom with and ensuite in master, plus half-bath on the main floor. Fully stocked kitchen. Many appliances throughout home. Large 2-car garage with some storage for non-perishable items.
The house is clean and bright and has an inviting and warm feel. The kitchen has many newer appliances with a gas-powered stovetop and dishwasher and is fully equipped for cooking scrumptious meals and baking as you wish. Professional soundproofing between the two townhouses on the only shared wall. The home on other side is a detached cottage, and the house on the backside is up hill and a distance away. There are no houses on the front side of the house, just gorgeous views.
Ensuite Master bedroom has two nice-size closets. Second bedroom has own designated bathroom across the hall. 1/2-bathroom on main level. Blackout curtains in both bedrooms, or as you choose wake up with curtains open to natural light and breathtaking views.
Brand new queen-sized Nectar Premier memory foam mattress in master bedroom and comfortable full-sized pillow-top mattress in second bedroom. Both beds have zipped mattress and pillow covers for allergy-prone individuals and cleanliness. New sheets and pillows of differing firmness levels. Newer shiny stainless-steel appliances. Brand new quiet HVAC heat pump system. Gas fireplace, as well, on main floor.
Designated workspace. Right now, the large rectangular wooden dining table is used as a comfortable workspace for laptop use, with a wireless laser printer, a portable scanner, and office supplies in the bifold closet next to the dining table. The second bedroom is currently configured as sleeping quarters. If you would like a designated office with a closed door, furniture can be re-arranged in the 2nd bedroom and a large desk (currently in a storage room off garage) can be set up for you in this second bedroom.
Ample-sized Smart TV (Roku) on swivel/tilt mount adjacent to comfy couch and armchair with Apple TV+ and Amazon Prime Video. Very reliable Xfinity Broadband with Netgear Nighthawk router booster. Download speed: up to 300 Mbps, Upload speed: up to 20 Mbps.
Rent of $2,200/mth includes utilities of a cap of up to $225 a month for gas/electric and water. Anything above this tenant will pay. The utility bills range from $150 to $225 maximum. Brand new heat pump HVAC system is very efficient and quiet!
